A Seminar on the topic of Easy Urdu Prosody
What is Prosody, the importance of prosody in Urdu poetry, the bahirs in aruz are mentioned in a Seminar on the topic of Easy Urdu Prosody held by Istanbul University Oriental Research Center and Department of Urdu Language and Literature. Afterwards, Dr. Aftab Muztar from Karachi applied takti on the sample poems of important poets of the Urdu language. At the end of the seminar, Poet Dr. Aftab Muztar, writer of three poetry books and who uses the name Muztar in his poems, presented his new book of poetry "Sahil pe Tehre ho" as well as his book about aruz, which is also his doctoral thesis, "Urdu ka Aruzi Nizam and Asri Takaza" to the library of the Department of Urdu Language and Literature.
