About the Symposium:

The Oriental Research Centre, Istanbul University, Faculty of Letters is going to organize an international symposium on October 25-26, 2022 in collaboration with the Department of Urdu Language and Literature, Istanbul University, Faculty of Letters and TDV Centre for Islamic Studies (ISAM), Allama Iqbal Open University titled “Türkiye-South Asia Relations in Historical Perspective (Culture, History, Literature, Press and Education), aiming to regain a different perspective of Türkiye-South Asian Countries.

Aims:

International Oriental Research Centre Symposium will be held on October 25-26, 2022 in Istanbul, TÜRKİYE. Hopefully Oriental Research Centre Symposium 2022 will bring together academics and individual experts in the field of Humanities and Social Science Research, especially in Türkiye, Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Mauritius and the other countries interested in the concerning topics of the Symposium to a common forum. We will discuss and study about TÜRKİYE and SOUTH ASIAN COUNTRIES’ relations in a historical perspective in the different fields as culture, literature, press and education.

The symposium comity sincerely invites experts, scholars, and other relevant individuals from universities and scientific research institutions.

Attending International Oriental Research Symposium 2022 will provide an opportunity to network and share thoughts on recent advances with other academics and experts in the same or similar fields.
